We are delighted to confirm that we have received a grant of £10,000 from the National Lottery Big Lottery Fund to support our Outreach work.
This money will enable us to provide additional training for our volunteers to enable them to provide more support to the carers and families affected by a loved ones’ drugs, alcohol or substance misuse.
It will also enable us to stage a play highlighting the effects of addiction on families and friends and the social stigma this causes. More details about this play, when & where it will be staged and how you can see it will be made available on the website and through our Facebook and Twitter pages.
This grant is one of thousands of grants made to community groups throughout the country totalling £50.2 million, and will enable us to continue to provide a much needed service in the Portsmouth and Hampshire area. And thank you to all those people who buy National Lottery tickets – your support is much appreciated!
