Portsmouth City Council are starting the process of re-tendering their main substance misuse services in the City, currently provided by the Society of St. James, starting in April 2022.
Rebound is keen to make carers part of this new re-tendering and this will be an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of families who have often been overlooked in the past.
A member of the Public Health Team at Portsmouth City Council will be joining us at our first face to face meeting on June 29th. She is keen to hear members’ views about current service provision, what they feel is going well and what PCC can be doing better in Portsmouth.
As we are not sure how many members will attend on the 29th, we hope that members, even those who do not attend Rebound at present, will complete the attached simple questionnaire to enable us to present our views to the Council, so that they can be taken into account in any future service provision.
It is so important for as many of us as possible could complete this survey – this is our chance to help families access more professional support and recognition in the City.
Please complete and return this questionnaire as soon as possible before the 29th June, not just for our own benefit but for the many other families whose lives have been torn apart by a loved ones’ addiction and suffering alone.
